The Anthony Halberstadt Chapter of the Indiana Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) presented a $200 scholarship on 17 June to Brady Richman from Fort Wayne Scout Troop 365. His Troop is sponsored by Central Lutheran Schools.
Eagle Scout Richman presented his award-winning essay, titled “The Patriotic Efforts of Henry Knox” to members of the local SAR Chapter. Brady is a student at Heritage High School and will compete for additional awards at the State and National Level.
Young men who achieve the rank of the Eagle Scout have demonstrated their belief in America’s core principles. For this reason, the SAR believes that Eagle Scouts deserve special recognition for their accomplishment and dedication and joins with the Scouts of America to develop a mutual partnership for good citizenship.
